Protective Jewellery from the Golden Triangle

This traditional soul casket or spirit lock pendant has been handcrafted by Karen Hilltribe artisans in the Golden Triangle, Northern Thailand. The spirit lock is more than just a piece of jewellery, it's a symbol of protection and spiritual connection originally used ceremonially to strengthen and even recall a person's spirit.

The Karen silversmiths have handed their silversmithing knowledge down through the generations, and use 99.9% pure Thai silver to create their intricate tribal designs. The pure silver is softer than sterling silver, making it the perfect medium for their traditional stamped silver motifs.

This tribal silver pendant features a stamped floral motif surrounded on all four sides by a patterned border. You can either thread the loops onto a beaded necklace, or add your own silver jump rings to use it with a traditional silver chain.

Lock measures 2.5cm x 2cm (3.5 x 3cm with loops)
