Blue Leaf Print Cotton Batik Fabric

This bright blue batik fabric features a leaf print design, hand printed using traditional techniques in Java, Indonesia. After the fine cotton fabric has been dyed a bright blue colour, a wax resist is block printed by hand before a darker blue dye is applied. The result is a subtle leaf print fabric with a mottled blue finish.
