Fabrics

We aim to sell unusual fabrics which you won't find anywhere else. In many cases the fabrics are made specially for us, and whenever possible we buy directly from the maker, the weaver, the dyer or the batik workshop.

We sell beautiful pure cotton batik from Java and Bali, ikat weave fabrics from Thailand and Indonesia, and indigo and hemp from the minority people and hill tribes of China and the Golden Triangle.

We sell our fabrics sometimes by the whole piece and sometimes by the metre,  in packs of four 50 cms (20") squares (known in the trade as "fat quarters"!) or and in sample sets of six 25 cms (10") squares..
