A small zipped coin purse in traditional applique and indigo dyed batik, made from recycled pieces of hilltribe costume by H'mong women in northern Thailand. A mini sampler of amazing textile skills!

A delightful little padded and lined coin purse made from hand stamped batik. Made in the indigo batik workshop of my friend Panee and her family in their home near Phrae, in northern Thailand.

A sweet little drawstring bag with lining. This is made from a piece of recycled embroidered traditional skirt from the Miao women of northern Vietnam.

These bags are made of hand woven hemp and decorated with a piece of stunning hand worked embroidery originally made by a Miao woman.
The stumpwork embroidery is worked in raised knots. The bag is lined and finished with a top zip and a shoulder cord with pompoms.

A very lovely lined shoulder bag with an inside zipped pocket and a large coconut button fastening. Made from gorgeous Japanese style indigo print and plainfabric. From north Thailand

The bag is made from part of a Laos woman's skirt with a hand woven panel.
