Bold Blues - Set of 4 Batik Fat Quarters
Bundle of four fat quarters (approximately 50cm squares). All pieces feature a bold batik pattern in various shades and tones of blue.
All of our modern batik fabrics are sourced directly from a family-run workshop in Central Java.
The batik is made in long lengths - the background colours are dyed first with a variety of non traditional techniques and then wax is applied with copper stamps. A second layer of dyes is applied on top, and then the wax is removed in very hot water.
