Events, markets and talks have always been a big part of the Textile Traders offering. Now that Jim and Di are slowly trying to retire, their son Sean has taken on the travelling shop. You can find him regularly at events, shows and World Textile Days around the country.
2025
21st - 27th July: Batik Pop-Up
10am-4pm every day. Stars Community Pop-Up Shop, Opposite Co-op, Bishop's Castle.
After the success of our indigo pop up in the spring, we're returning to the wonderful Stars community shop for an exhibition and sale of batik fabrics. Come learn more about batik, add some new fabrics to your stash or kit yourself out with a new outfit!
8th & 9th August: Weavers, Spinners & Dyers Summer School
Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh
The biennial AGWSD summer school is happening this year, and we're delighted to be taking part in their trade fair on the Saturday and Sunday.
6th September: World Textile Day Wales
10am - 4pm. The Minerva Centre, Llanidloes.

13th September: World Textiles Market

Whilst we won't have our full Textile Traders stall at this one, Jim will be trading his antique and collectible Textile Treasures alongside lots of other lovely traders.
27th September: World Textile Day South
