Made in the old part of Jogyakarta called Taman Sari where many young batik artists live. The young people there have started to make interesting and vibrant versions of their grandmother's and mother's traditional craft of batik. This type of batik is mostly made for individual fashion designers.
This is a wonderful free flowing and long abstract batik cloth which would make a stunning garment or wall covering.
