Fabulous gold, silver or gold and silver cloth which is used by bride, groom or their attendants and guests at a wedding in Java.
This cloth is first screen printed with a traditional batik design and it is then decorated with gold (known as prada). This process entails outlining the designs with a latex gum and then scattering very fine gold powder over it.
The fabric can be gently hand washed with care. We sell these cloths as a whole piece (approx 1 metre wide x 2.2 m long) or cut into fat quarter or sample packs.
